Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Tulsa, OK
Reports To: Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's strong Tulsa-based team. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions including financial reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and supporting leadership with financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and tax filings in accordance with applicable standards.

• Develop and maintain reporting for business operations, budgets, and financial forecasting.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide timely financial analysis and reporting to the management team.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances.

• Oversee invoicing processes and monitor accounts receivable collections.

• Prepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and local tax regulations.

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team on financial planning and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting roles, with strong proficiency in QuickBooks.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Prior experience in the energy service industry is a plus.
