Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of a variety of events that contribute to our organization's success. The Events Assistant will work closely with the Events Manager to coordinate all aspects of events, from concept development to on-site support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to execution
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless event logistics
- Manage event budgets and assist in financial tracking and reporting
- Conduct site visits and evaluations for potential event locations
- Assist in the preparation of event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage
- Help set up and take down event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in event planning or a related role is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of event management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
