Medical Director at SEROTONIN Anti-Aging Centers
The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the medical operations of the Center. The duties include reviewing healthcare laws and regulations to ensure compliance, implementing and overseeing medical protocols, monitoring facility or department budgets, and developing strategies to improve communication between medical professionals and clients.
Location Requirement : Must live in and be licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina. Ideal candidates should have experience in hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and aesthetics.
Responsibilities
Medical Directors oversee the operation and success of medical, clinical training, and prescriptive / lab services. Some of their typical daily duties include :
- Collaborate with medical team members.
- Assist in the training and promotion of medical team members.
- Ensure that the medical team members and Center comply with federal rules, regulations, and codes.
- Enhance cooperation between physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and relevant medical departments / services.
- Foster healthy relationships with medical suppliers to keep the Center stocked and fully operational.
- Evaluate the coordination of the medical team to ensure the success of the Center.
- Ensure licenses / certifications are up to date to prevent prosecution or termination of the Center’s services to the public.
- Delegate prescriptive authority.
- Conduct regular chart reviews.
- Be available in person or via telecommunication for consultations regarding medical problems, complications, emergencies, or client / member / guest referrals.
- Supervise the Center’s medical practitioners.
- Delegate medical activities or tasks to medical team members or other personnel as allowed.
