Description
Supports the goals and objectives of the Company and in accordance with the Company's commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction, must have professional, service-oriented attitude at all times.
Follows safe work practices at all times.
Must adhere to schedule, report to work on time, well groomed and wearing a clean uniform.
Spreads hospitality and goodwill among all members and their guests.
Greets members and guests both entering and leaving and assists with bags and belongings; opens clubhouse doors for members and guests when not helping with bags.
Always be standing when members and guests are within sight; be ready, willing, and able to assist members and guest at all times.
Works closely with the Assistant Professionals in learning the procedures of the golf operations.
Reviews daily tee sheet to be familiar with players for the day.
Calls for bag pick-ups and/or bag storage pulls.
Keeps wet towel on hand to clean all clubs of members and guests, both entering and leaving.
Removes bags from Bag Storage Room and loads onto carts.
Inspects all clubs for cleanliness, damage, or wear and endure that all clubs are in proper position. Cleans clubs if necessary.
Brings carts from cart barn to cart staging area outside Golf Shop.
Removes bags from carts and loads onto carts; returns clean bags to assigned rack in Bag Storage Room.
Returns carts to cart barn, removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink containers, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; washes cart; parks cart in barn and connects charger cable.
Cleans, services and rotates carts.
Transports range balls to the range and fills appropriate containers.
Places stations of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.
Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
Keep Valet area clean and orderly.
Gives directions as needed.
Washes all range balls daily.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
