The Administrator of Community Living is responsible for a wide range of duties, including supervising CILA House Managers, leading CQL accreditation efforts for community living, and assisting with community living post-merger integration efforts. This position will also be responsible for the quality and delivery of programs, ensuring program compliance with state rules and regulations and agency’s standards.

Your Role
The Administrator of Community Living is responsible for a wide range of duties, including supervising CILA House Managers, leading CQL accreditation efforts for community living, and assisting with community living post-merger integration efforts. This position will also be responsible for the quality and delivery of programs, ensuring program compliance with state rules and regulations and agency’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Treats consumers with dignity and respect, while providing them with the support needed to become as independent as possible.
- Provides support to consumers to obtain outcomes that will allow them to live their best lives possible as documented in their Person-Centered Plan.
- Serve as each person’s advocate to ensure their wants and needs in regards to their rights are respected
- Promotes community inclusion by assisting consumers in developing natural supports.
- Provide leadership, supervision, training and support to all direct reports, while promoting a person-centered environment and self-advocacy concepts.
- Provide administrative support in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and training employees; performance management; and conflict resolution
- Monitor budgeted staff hours of all 24-hour CILA homes; minimize overtime and ensure hours are within budget on a weekly basis.
- In the absence of a CILA House Supervisor, assume the role and associated responsibilities. Maintain 24-hour on-call accessibility for staffing coverage and other home issues, and a flexible schedule (i.e. days, evenings, and weekends).
- Ensure delivery and/or coordination of all Residential services are in compliance with DHS Rule 115 & 116, CARF standards, CQL, agency mission, agency policy & procedure, program guidelines and best practice.
- Work with VP as needed on the development of program budgets, operate programs in a way that meets revenue goals, and routinely monitor program expenses to ensure compliance with program budgets.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor degree in a human service field of study preferred.
- Minimum of two years supervisory/administrative experience, preferably in a residential setting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively work with coworkers and consumers
- DSP Certification by DHS.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving requirements when required to provide transportation
