Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Writes and sells Estimates for Mitigation, Fire Pack-outs, Content Cleaning, Structure Cleaning, Hoarding, Mold Remediation, Biohazard projects and Trauma’s. Writes estimate to meet the gross margin for each division. Assist customers and insurance representatives regarding technical questions. Market, sell, and follow up on mitigation opportunities when they are present. Maintain solid customer relationships by handling their projects, questions, and concerns with speed and professionalism. Provide supervision, training, and field assistance in the production of Fire, Mold and Trauma jobs. Also, provide supervision, training and field assistance in the production of large water damaged structures for contents pack out when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
  • Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
  • Represent the company to create lasting impressions with our clients that differentiates us from our competition. Demonstrate to all customers, fellow employees and others a sincere concern and interest in each customer and in the services provided to each customer. (S)He is expected to maintain a positive attitude while resolving production, mechanical, and scheduling difficulties which may be encountered from time to time.
  • Demonstrate company services knowledge.
  • Determine and execute proper mitigation and remediation procedures.
  • Responsible for learning and staying up to date with all required programs, including but not limited to Restore365, Xactware, ServiceMaster, Crawford & Company, Brigtserv and Alacrity.
  • Responsible for estimating Fire, Mold, Pack Outs & Traumas.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to customers in order to sell the job, in a timely and clear fashion.
  • The following program requirements are met for every estimate:
  • Restore365 files are properly documented and up to date.
  • ServiceMaster programs guidelines (response time, initial upload time, final upload & cycle time).
  • Alacrity programs guidelines (Contractor Incentive Program).
  • Crawford Contactor Connection guidelines (mitigation TIPS/POMS).
  • Lionsbridge and all other TPA guidelines.
  • Sales, Marketing, and lead generation:
  • Call Adjusters and cold call to obtain new Adjuster leads.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns promptly and work with the Mitigation Manager to resolve any service issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
  • 1 - 3 years' of construction experience preferred
