Job Position Description:
Floor Care Maintenance Technician working as a team to maintain floor surfaces, mainly, carpet, some VCT, hand mopping, and vacuuming. The following standards for machine maintenance are crucial. Position is Monday through Friday, 5-9 p.m. Will not be required to strip and wax, hourly wage $15.

- Use proper PPE where required.
- Some hand mopping.
- Use of chemical safety procedures.
- Must be able to follow maintenance task schedule of equipment (daily/weekly).
- Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
- The ability to be flexible, work at a fast-paced and in a multi-tasked job is necessary.
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall. team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
- Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
- Must be able to communicate in English and/or use a translation tool.
- Must have own reliable transportation.
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs.
- Ability to read instructions in English.
- Willing to wear a backpack vacuum.
- Respect of equipment which includes daily and weekly maintenance.
