SCOPE OF ROLE:The Generalist will provide quality support services, ensuring that members receive the necessary degree of support to facilitate reaching their indicated goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage clubhouse members in the kitchen, maintenance and clerical units, including working alongside members to execute tasks.
- Be able to cook, complete job development and teach computer skills
- Facilitate and participate in the day- to- day activities of an assigned unit on a rotating basis, with the emphasis on promoting consumer empowerment
- Provides assistance, training, monitoring, and direction of members’ chosen unit activities, and other program related activities.
- Make programming available in such a manner as to model mainstream community e.g. Celebrate holidays on the actual holiday. Provide recreation and leisure, etc.
- Accompany members on various group outings and social events.
- Ensure that the assigned unit logbook is current and contains group notes, attendance sheets and monthly unit schedules.
- Assist in facilitating groups as needed in the program on a day-to-day basis.
- Assist members in developing an individualized plan that reflects the members’ expressed personal goals as they relate to the Clubhouse and their general goals.
- Ensure that the members receive the necessary degree of support to facilitate reaching their indicated goals.
- Coordinate, supervise and maintain member case records. Encourage and inspire members to work or attend school/training
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. High school diploma/equivalency required.
- Minimum of one-year experience in Clubhouse, Case Management or similar role.
- Basic computer skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Ability to utilize various computer programs, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- A respect for, and high level of comfort around people experiencing psychiatric crisis preferred
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills including empathic listening, responding preferred
- Knowledge of ICCD standards preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
