HiSET Test Administrator/Proctor at Somerset County Jail

Job Description

RSU /MSAD 54 Adult & Community Education is looking for a part-time HiSET test administrator for students in the Somerset County Jail. Hours are variable, totaling approximately 80-120 hours per year.

Responsibilities include checking in and monitoring students for both paper and computer-based HiSET tests, adhering to all policies and procedures dictated by the testing company.

HiSET test administration training will be provided, and the test administrator will also need to complete an orientation at Somerset County Jail to learn required protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in Adult Education and/or corrections preferred.
• Experience in administering standardized tests preferred.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete forms and to read directions clearly to test takers.
• Must possess unquestionable integrity and be able to handle groups of test takers in an effective, efficient and friendly manner.
• Cannot be involved in high school equivalency instruction.
  
  

0-3 hours/week. Pay will be $23/hour
