Key Responsibilities
- Completion of remodels, framing, drywall, trim work, deck repair, roof repair, and general maintenance
- Ability to perform a variety of rough and finished carpentry work
- Ability to remodel kitchens and bathrooms
- Possess a personal set of tools and maintain them in safe and efficient operating condition
- Use strong time-management skills to complete work within scheduled time frames
- Ability to complete work-order reports daily
- Possess in-depth knowledge of carpentry materials and hands-on experience with tools
- Excellent communication skills to interact in a cordial and respectful manner with customers and project managers
- Tech-savvy with the ability to take pictures and send via email or text
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Ability to multitask and complete more than one job per day
- Maintain a clean job work site and abide by OSHA safety guidelines
- Attend and show up every day and be on time to the shop and work sites
- May be required to perform other trade areas
- Ability to order and pick up materials as needed
- Maintain a valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle that is equipped to carry large materials and ladders
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
