Description
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive process improvements.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures in line with automotive industry requirements.
• Collaborate with quality team to keep Process control documentation up to date and driving continuous improvement activities (P-FMEA)
• Implement statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and maintain consistent product quality.
• Collect and analyze data related to process performance, product quality and equipment performance.
• Develop and maintain process performance metrics and reports.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that manufacturing equipment is properly maintained.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and implement solutions.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Work on projects to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving product quality.
• Ensure that all processes and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Analyze engineering change requests and assess their impact on existing processes and product quality.
• Work with relevant teams to implement ECRs effectively while minimizing disruptions to production.
• Work on facility layout planning to optimize material flow, process efficiency, and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure that the layout supports seamless operations and product quality.
• Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management.
Requirements
• 4 year degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for automotive industry experience.
• Experience with machine commissioning.
• 3 years technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive background preferred. Assembly and production experience is required.

• Strong problem-solving skills, team-oriented approach, and a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of quality control methods, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
