Title: CAD Designer

Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Onsite Mon-Thurs)

Compensation: $35-$50/hour, depending on experience

Reports To: Design Director

Start Date: ASAP

Commitment: Freelance / Project-based, with potential for ongoing work

About The Role

We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Freelance CAD Designer to bring our seasonal collections to life through polished and production-ready CADs. You'll work closely with the Design Director to translate concepts and inspiration into clean, accurate digital renderings that reflect our brand's aesthetic and support cross-functional team workflows (development, marketing, production).

Key Responsibilities

• Create flat technical drawings and digital renderings for all styles in Illustrator (and/or CLO, in addition to the flat technical sketches that match our current style).
• Create new designs that align with the SET brand based on direction from the Design Directory, campaign mood boards, and merchandised line pans
• Develop color-ups and pattern mockups across multiple bodies and collections
• Assist with building out seasonal CAD line sheets and presentation decks
• Ensure all CADs are consistent, clean, and updated with correct details (stitching, trims, textures, etc.)
• Make revisions as needed based on design feedback or development updates
• Maintain organized file structures and adhere to seasonal deadlines
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of CAD experience in the fashion industry, ideally in women's apparel or activewear
• Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills; knowledge of CLO 3D a plus
• Solid understanding of garment construction and fabric types
• Familiarity with fashion design process from concept through production
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance speed and accuracy
• Prior experience freelancing or working in a startup environment preferred
