The Takelma Baker prepares a wide variety of goods such as cakes, pastries, pies, cookies and breads for a multi-venue department. Decorates cakes and pastries using different frostings, icings and toppings to ensure presentation will be inviting to our guests. Duties include, but are not limited to
- Responsible for ordering food items and supplies from outside vendors or warehouse stock.
- Prepares food and ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and shredding vegetables and fruits.
- Mixes and measures ingredients according to recipes.
- Bakes breads, rolls, cakes and pastry items maintaining the high standards set forth by Seven Feathers Casino Resort.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- A Vocational/Culinary School is desired.
- 1 to 3 years in a casino/hotel/restaurant property preferred.
- Current Food handler Certificate.
- Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
Salary : $27,200 - $34,400
