FSQA Manager

Seven Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented FSQA Manager to join a reputable food manufacturing company. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Reporting directly to the Director of FSQA, the FSQA Manager will lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations, customer standards, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all production lines.
• Implement and monitor food safety and quality policies in accordance with regulatory, customer, and supplier requirements.
• Manage key quality programs including Environmental Monitoring, Hold Program, Consumer Complaints, and Laboratory Operations.
• Support internal and external audits, including compliance with SQF and FSMA standards.
• Conduct and document investigations (e.g., product complaints, production discrepancies), identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventative actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to train production teams and maintain a culture of food safety and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in quality control within a food manufacturing facility.
• Certifications: HACCP, PCQI, and SQF Practitioner (required).
• Strong working knowledge of food production processes, quality systems, and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to train and develop teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
