Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in daily living activities.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Observe and document patient behavior and progress accurately.
- Support individuals in developing social skills and participating in community activities.
- Advocate for resident rights and promote independence.
- Collaborate with team members to implement effective care strategies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
