What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Sevita?
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges.
In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Part-time schedule for Caregivers
Our Caregivers have fun on the job! Some examples : beach visits, drive-in movies, lobster boat trips, berry-picking, hiking, visiting the movies, baseball games, talent shows, restaurants, cooking, wreath-making, gardening and more! Come have fun while making a difference!
BASE pay starts at $ an hour with no experience!
1-3 years of caregiver experience $ an hour
3 yrs of experience $ an hour
Higher compensation for applicants with CRMA, DSP and / or at least 1 year of caregiver experience!)
Responsibilities of a Caregiver :
- Assist with bathing and toileting
- Attend fun team outings!
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and conversation
- Overall safety and wellbeing of clients
Qualifications Required for a Caregiver :
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a valid Driver's License & clean driving record
- Successful clearance of background checks
- Attend FUN outings and activities!
