We are seeking an Accounting Services Professional to join our team to:
- Handle the day-to-day accounting transactions for clients; including bill pay, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll transactions
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly journal entries and closing of general ledger
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and the chart of accounts
- Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the financial condition of the firm’s clients, including analysis of results
- Timely follow-up with clients for missing information
- Prepare client sales tax returns, year-end 1099 returns, and property tax declarations
- Assist with special requests and projects as needed

- Ability to work independently with expanding duties and responsibilities
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and have strong client service
- Open to new ideas and a desire to try new technologies and processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines

Education and Experience
- Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred (or relevant experience)
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or related experience
- Advanced QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online experience
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word & Outlook
- Experience with other general ledger packages is a plus
