We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Audit team to:
- Responsible for the completion of compilation, review and audit engagements
- Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies and applicable laws
- Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies and prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements
- In-charge staff on client engagements and perform a first level review of staff assigned work
- Demonstrate the ability to efficiently research audit topics of intermediate complexity
- Assist in developing and coaching professional staff
- Help develop, build and manage client relationships
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of audit and attest services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong analytical, mathematical and critical thinking abilities
- Shows ambition, drive, and takes initiative for all tasks
- Ability to multitask and handle several engagements at a time, while working independently
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree, accounting preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience required
- Experience with tax preparation and review services is a plus
