About us
SH America, Inc. is located near GM and Vera Bradley in Roanoke, Indiana. We are ramping up for production in our brand new facility that will be manufacturing Electric Vehicle battery parts in a temperature controlled, cleanroom-like environment.
To get the facility started, we need a team of 6 Machine Operators that will be excited to get a fresh start, or enhance their existing skills. These opportunities begin with an orientation at our facility and then continue with paid On The Job Training in a sister-company's facility in South Korea for one month, starting in February 2024. Meals and essential expenses are also paid. A current Passport and VISA will be required. SH America will reimburse the cost of the Passport (if you do not have a current one) and the required VISA.
Our goal is to hire motivated individuals that will lend their experiences and expertise to their team in a collaborative, positive, and engaging work environment as we grow to 300 employees. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure machines operation for maximum production runs, including some programming
and adjusting settings to ensure quality and output are achieved
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform troubleshooting on machines with guidance from Supervisor, Quality, Engineering
- Oversee other team members on production line and assist where needed to ensure
operation and output are maximized
- Use associated controls, devices, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Experience operating machines is preferred, but not required
- Strong machine, production, manufacturing aptitude is helpful
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment processes and procedures
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a growing industry that will become a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machines and/or working in a production environments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
