College Ministry Assistant
Position Type: Part time; Non-Exempt; 28 hours per week
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the College Minister, handle all administrative tasks of College Ministry including communication, organization, logistics, financial processes, event planning and execution, while leveraging who we are and what we have been given for the sake of the gospel.

- Ability to communicate in a professional manner via email and face to face
- Detail-oriented and administratively gifted
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to learn church database software and financial processes
- A member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church or willing and able to become a member
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, respond in a timely manner to all voicemail and email inquiries.
- Create and maintain communication to college students and leaders.
- Manage the church database for Shades College.
- Manage all financial processes related to college ministry.
- Manage the church reservation system and input all relevant college ministry events.
- Maintain all college ministry metrics.
- Create excellent and inviting atmospheres.
- Assist the College Minister in administration, organization, scheduling and logistics of college ministry events.
- Attend College Ministry Team meetings.
- Attend monthly All Team meetings.
- Attend College Ministry events that have been agreed upon with the College Minister.
- Perform other related duties that may benefit the church and/or college ministry as directed by the College Minister or Executive leadership.
