Shaker Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Data Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing the performance of our clients' paid media investments by providing strategic and actionable insights. As a client-facing professional, you will collaborate with media and account teams, utilizing data to drive advertising campaign effectiveness and exceed established goals and KPIs.
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing the performance of our clients' paid media investments by providing strategic and actionable insights. As a client-facing professional, you will collaborate with media and account teams, utilizing data to drive advertising campaign effectiveness and exceed established goals and KPIs.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to internal teams; guiding team decision-making processes.
- Identify, transform, and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
- Design and maintain bespoke data visualizations in Tableau.
- Analyze campaign data to derive actionable optimization insights and assess effectiveness.
- Document client goals and provide strategic solutions to measure and improve performance.
- Develop and present compelling PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate insights.
- Partner with client service teams to present data-driven recommendations to clients; guiding media investment strategies to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with media teams to ensure campaigns meet performance benchmarks and exceed expectations.
- Monitor campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Note: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in digital marketing and/or digital communications. Recruitment marketing experience is a plus.
- Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to use data to drive media optimizations and develop marketing strategies.
- Visualization Skills: Experience creating impactful visualizations to make data accessible and actionable.
- Data Fluency: High degree of comfort working with data to uncover insights and tell compelling stories.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Tableau or a willingness to learn the software.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and creating client-facing presentations.
