Night Auditor Description
The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is currently seeking candidates with great attention to detail and a flair for hospitality for the position of Night Auditor. THIS SHIFT HAS A REGULAR SCHEDULE FROM 11:00 P.M. TO 7:00 A.M.
The Hilton Short Pump is a flag ship property owned and operated by Shamin Hotels. Shamin Hotels is Central Virginia's largest hotel management company and has tripled in size to 75 hotels over the past ten years. The job responsibilities include:
- Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
- Perform and attributes all required audit reports.
- Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
- Prepare the front office for the ‘A’ shift and reset days business.
- Act as a Guest Service representative during the overnight hours.
- Act as the Manager on Duty during the overnight hours.
- Verify the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.
- Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings.
- Participate in all training and cross training programs.
- Efficiently and courteously handle all telephone calls during the audit shift.
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Report to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

Qualifications
- 1 year of Hotel Front Desk or related experience is required
- Associate or bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to direct safety and security procedures
- Advanced math and bookkeeping skills
- Ability to perform computer-based tasks such as data entry, accounting, word processing, invoicing and billing.
