The Thrift shop operated by UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation plays a vital role in fundraising, community engagement, awareness building, sustainability, volunteerism, and adaptability. It not only generates revenue but also strengthens community ties and supports the overall mission of the hospital foundation to improve healthcare services and outcomes. The Thrift Shop provides a steady stream of funds to support the hospital foundation's initiatives. These funds can be used for various purposes such as purchasing medical equipment, funding research, supporting patient care programs, or improving facilities.
Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of Thrift Store including supervision of volunteers to staff the Thrift Shop. This position will also represent the Thrift Shop at meetings of the Auxiliary Fundraising Committee, as well as at various community / awareness events.
