What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Manager position at Shapell Properties, Inc.?
We have a great opportunity for a Community Manager for our Residential Community. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of a property located in San Ramon.
Responsibilities include achieving the financial and operational goals established for the community. Accountable for ensuring the optimum operational and financial performance, including personnel, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, revenue enhancing, and other capital improvements, contracted services, reporting, and safety and compliance with all state, federal and/or local laws including those related to fair housing and employment. Affordable Housing Compliance experience a plus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing communities with 300 units
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Effective problem solving, written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, preparation of annual budgets and vendor contracts.
- Knowledge of advanced sales, marketing, and apartment management.
- YARDI, ADP, and Microsoft Office.
- Requires a high level of organizational and time management skills
- Experience with property improvement projects is a plus
- Current California Department of Real Estate License may be required
- Supervisory skills
