Job Title: Experienced Medical Scheduler
Location: Rice Lake, WI (primary office) with occasional coverage in Chippewa Falls, WI office
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm (with possible slight schedule changes based on needs)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Scheduler to join our team in Rice Lake, WI, with occasional coverage in our Chippewa Falls office. As a Medical Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling patients for multiple facilities and exams, including emergencies, while maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with patients, technologists, coworkers, and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patients for multiple facilities and exams, including emergencies, while maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, technologists, coworkers, and medical professionals in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize administrative skills, including:
Proficient use of a multi-line phone system
Computer and keyboarding skills
Emailing, scanning, and faxing
- Demonstrate dependability, confidence, and organization
- Possess high attention to detail, listening, and customer service skills
- Ability to follow direction/instruction as given, work independently, and as a team
- Problem-solve and adapt to change quickly
- Exhibit good common sense and schedule efficiently
- Maintain a positive attitude
Requirements:
- Medical terminology and experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in administrative tasks, including phone, computer, and email
