Shift Details: Days & times will vary.
Server Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver and serve meals and snacks to residents, families and guests in an efficient, attentive and courteous manner, to achieve an exceptional dining experience.
- Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection, inform residents, family, and other guests about food preparation details; communicate specific resident needs to the cooks.
- Exemplify a positive disposition when delivering food to a resident’s room and be willing to adjust schedule to meet the individual expectations or requests of the residents.
- Perform all assigned sanitation, stocking, food preparation and housekeeping/cleaning duties as outlined in the Spectrum Dietary Standards and policies.
- Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Server Requirements:
- Must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one, as required by state and/or county regulations.
- All candidates must successfully complete the pre-employment process as required by Spectrum policy and State regulations, including but not limited to, a criminal background check.
- Other requirements may be needed per state legislation
Server Work Experience:
- Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
- Previous relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to promptly solve minor operational problems.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to read and understand menus.
Other Requirements:
- The safety of our Residents and Team Members is our top priority. To help accomplish this, all team members must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with our company policy.
- Must be medically able and willing to wear a NIOSH-approved tight-fitting respirator (N95 mask), if required by and in accordance with federal or state regulations or Spectrum policy
