This is the Funnest Job for someone who Loves Kids, Toys, To do Hair and to be busy!
Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids is a salon just for kids, but it is also a Toy Store, and a place for Parties! A recipe for FUN!
This salon is located on Highway 152, next to Old Chicago Pizza and is THE destination for Kids haircuts!
Your responsibilities would include:
Making Appointments, Checking clients in and out
Checking in, Ordering, Organizing and Displaying the Toys in the toy store - you also receive a PROFIT SHARE on toy items sold and a 20% discount on product purchases. There is some lifting and standing on a ladder to display items.
Performing Ear Piercings
Performing Diva Days - fun updos, sparkly makeup, and mini manicures on children
Booking parties and participating in them
Posting store items on social media
Having FUN!
The posted rate of earning is $12.00 to $15.00 an hour (that will be your base pay rate) - but you will earn more than this! You will receive tips from Ear Piercings, Diva Days, Parties, and you will be in the profit sharing program for the retail and toys sold.
You need to have an upbeat personality and get along great with both parents and children. Our company motto is "Every Child Matters" - if you really believe and live this motto - this may be a fit for you!
We Offer a discounted membership to a Direct Primary Care Physicians Office as well as a 401K plan that we match at 10% - you do not need to be a full time employee to participate in either plan.
We also give you a PAID vacation. For every 6 months worked you accrue a half a week paid vacation.
Check us out at www.shearmadnesskids.com - our hours are 10 to 7 M-F and 9 to 5 on Saturday. Parties are from 5 - 6:30 Saturday evenings. You will be scheduled during some of those times, you will have a fixed schedule so you will be able to plan your personal life too!

COVID-19 considerations:
Currently masks are optional for workers and clients. We sanitize after every haircut, and run an ozone machine nightly to kill all germs. It is a very safe environment.
