Claims Associate
$13.28 per hour
Job Level: Individual Contributor
What You Will Be Doing:
Take first notice of loss or assigned loss reports, perform duties associated with settling high-frequency, low-severity claims, focus on prompt investigation and rapid disposition. Specialize in settling routine claims quickly and cost-effectively, settling claims within prescribed limits of authority, while maintaining a low volume of pending files. Damages are usually determined based on appraisals or estimates. Perform claims investigations with assistance of claims processing software.
Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, Consumer Reports are ordered on final candidates
What We're Looking For:
- Investigative, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
- Superior skills in negotiation and customer service, written and verbal communication
- Ability to learn through on-the-job training/training courses
- Strong skills in technology
- Knowledge of automotive repair
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
