General Responsibilities: Should possess thorough knowledge of standard/diesel automotive repair methods, tools and terminology; ability to make repairs to heavy automotive and mechanical equipment; ability to perform NYSDOT mandated PM inspections on school buses; Possession of or ability to obtain a CDL-B license with a P and S endorsement and be able to pass DOT physical. Must have tools necessary to perform repairs on diesel and gasoline powered engines. Candidates should have good motor and hand/eye coordination and be in good physical condition.
