Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator-Fiber Sales is responsible for project managing the post-sale order management function for Shentel’s fiber sales team. This requires the coordination of multiple groups including Sales, Engineering, Operations and Customer Service to ensure service is delivered quickly and billing commences immediately, with accuracy. The Project Coordinator frequently works with customers and governmental institutions (USAC) to analyze issues preventing accurate order completion and revenue realization in determining the best options to resolve such problems in a self-directed manner.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: AS degree in Business or a related field is preferred. Other candidates with a strong relevant experience and substantial industry or military experience will be considered.

Experience Level:
- At least Five (5) years’ customer service or equivalent experience. Previous telecommunication experience is preferred.
- 3 or more years of managing complex projects.
- Experience with CommV or other proprietary telecommunications billing systems
- Experience with Federal telecommunication programs preferred.
- Strong business and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and other Shentel employees.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Sharepoint and PowerPoint.
- Proficient with Adobe Acrobat PRO
- Skill Summary: Strong MS Office, Excel, Access and quantitative abilities.
- Highly skilled problem solving ability (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
- Exposure to general technology trends influencing the telecommunications industry.
