PURPOSE:

As a Technical Assistant, you will provide professional services and processing for all lines of insurance in accordance with agency workflow procedures and training. In addition, with a positive attitude, you will be responsible for assisting Client Managers and other team members with routine processing and administrative tasks to best serve our clients.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft, format, and distribute professionally written correspondence and documentation, including emails, letters, Word documents, and faxes. Ensure all communications reflect a high standard of professionalism and clarity.
- Exhibit strong verbal communication skills and maintain proper phone etiquette in all interactions.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and team members.
- Perform basic data entry and assist with document management tasks such as scanning, saving, and organizing files. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in agency systems.

Support Client Managers with routine administrative tasks, such as:
- Filing and organizing documents.
- Updating client and policy information in agency systems.
- Tracking policy documents and following up on missing items.
- Assisting with certificate issuance and simple endorsements under supervision.
- Assist with preparing renewal applications by gathering necessary documentation and ensuring completeness.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with agency standards.
- Support the processing and tracking of binders and policy issuance with carriers.
- Perform data entry tasks associated with new and renewal business.
- Deliver work items with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong collaboration and demonstrated ability to work well with a team while maintaining a professional relationship. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. College degree is preferred, not necessary.
- Possess a thorough understanding of commercial claims adjusting or management.
- Familiar in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), agency & document managing system
- AMS 360 and ImageRight Experience.
