Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN or LVN to join our exceptional team. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents during the overnight shift. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, offering both medical and emotional support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor and assess residents' health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of nursing care, including observations and treatments.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to residents and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LVN license in the state of Texas.
- Preferred certification in BLS/CPR.
- Previous experience in a post-hospital rehab or senior assisted living facility is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make critical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
