Qualifications
- Candidates should be able to read EKG's during stress tests and identify EKG changes or arrhythmias.
- Candidates should be able to read monitors and differentiate normal sinus rhythm, arrhythmias, and ectopic beats.
- Candidates should be able to hook up EKG leads for stress tests and monitors.
Candidates should be able to take blood pressures during stress tests and be able to read real time heart rates on EKG during exercise.
Compensation
To be discussed based on experience.
Hours
Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm
Responsibilities
- EKG Technician will perform and assist with cardiac stress tests.
- This position aids in nuclear stress test administration, performs exercise treadmill tolerance tests, assists in stress echocardiograms and manages holter, event and MCT monitors.
This person will also help monitor our pacemaker and defibrillator home monitor alerts.
