JOB DESCRIPTION



The role is responsible for operation and maintenance of the plant. The incumbent will need to operate in a safe and efficient manner following all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. This role is classified as safety sensitive.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE


  • Properly follow all company policies and MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
  • Responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.
  • Greases, performs oil changes and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Report all major maintenance problems to Superintendent.
  • Repair and replace conveyor belts when needed.
  • Change plant screens when needed.
  • Maintain plant site and plant with skid steer, shovel, and wash down with hose.
  • Operate small power tools.
  • Operate water truck for dust control of roads.
  • Operate front end loader to feed the plant and load trucks when needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring daily maintenance of plant is completed.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • 10 hour days and weekends are common.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


  • High School or Degree or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 2-3 years of experience in plant maintenance preferred
  • MSHA Miner Training preferred

Experience

Preferred
  • MSHA Miner Training
  • 2 - 3 years: Experience in plant maintenance
