We come from more than 50 different countries and cultures and together we are creating the future of insurance.As a SaaS Solutions Consultant, you will partner with our Sales, Product, Data Science, and Customer Success teams to present Shift as the decisioning platform of choice, providing comprehensive business-driven, AI enabled solutions to prospective and existing clients. Your technical expertise and communication skills will allow you uniquely to align and leverage resources to optimize our sales cycles. In this role, you will partner closely with the Sales team to understand customer's challenges, present compelling product demonstrations, and craft solutions that showcase how Shift's products deliver real business value. What You'll DoAnalyze technical and business data to determine the ideal customer for a given product before its launchConduct discovery sessions directly with prospective and existing clients to gather business and technology requirementsEnable Sales and Account Management teams' operational success by crafting pitches, as well as designing and presenting demos to decision-makers that speak to their specific pain pointsParticipate in RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, and compliance documentation in an accurate and timely manner.Assist in the creation of account configuration documentation and statements of work.Participate in strategy meetings with Marketing teams and Product teamsSuccessfully manage multiple prospect sales and existing client engagement opportunities simultaneouslyDevelop a compelling business case to support the customer buying decisionMaintain a deep understanding of the vertical's regulatory landscape, business practices, and customer workflows (eg. SIU/Special Investigations Unit)About You3 years of experience in consulting, technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role3 years experience with vertical SaaS products/platformsStrong understanding of industry workflows and challenges in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance verticalExperience selling to technical and business buyers - including executivesExceptional presentation skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner across all levels and teamsProblem solver who thrives in a dynamic, high growth environmentDemonstrates our value of "Focus on What Matters to Our Customers"Has a proactive, "Make It Happen" approach to their work, both autonomously and with their teamWillingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events (as needed)The range listed is for base compensation. Your actual base salary will vary based on factors including location and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. In addition to base salary, your total rewards package will include additional components such as incentive pay, equity, and benefits.
