BASIC FUNCTION: Assisting clients with job-related tasks on client’s worksite, being able to oversee job completion while working with multiple clients throughout shift. Implementing knowledge and modeling job-related skills to foster independence, this may include interpersonal skills and employment skills such as basic job tasks, self-direction. (safety)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and assist client at job site in completing job-related tasks to increase independence.
- Mentor by aiding and providing tools for the development of motivation and self-direction
- Maintain positive communication between the client, office staff, and the store manager.
- Complete daily documentation of client progress on their goals.
- Advise on workplace accommodations to ensure that client can meet job requirements.
- Effective time management to fit multiple clients within daily shifts.
- Manage client behavior by applying effective de-escalation techniques to courage utilizing their coping skills.
- Represent Shine Bright Care through positive interactions with customers, other employees, and management.
- Maintain confidentiality of clients, taking precautions to adhere to all HIPPA guidelines.
- Utilize teaching techniques, promote work conducive to learning by utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to meet clients’ needs
- Promote a safe work environment and the safety of clients.
- All other skills as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience preferred but willing to train eager-to-learn candidate.
