Associate Attorney – Litigation

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating closely with a strong litigation team. You’ll have the chance to expand your legal skills and learn from experienced attorneys while managing your own caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of insurance litigation
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
- Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
- Manage expert issues and client communications
- Provide legal analysis and opinions on liability, damages, and case valuation
- Maintain and update case files and client reports
- Track and enter billable time
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in New Jersey and in good standing with the NJ Bar
- 3–5 years of experience in litigation
- Experience with insurance defense matters, including auto and premises liability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to travel as needed for hearings, trials, and depositions
