Shingle Belting Inc., a leading US Manufacturer of specialty conveyor and extruded belting, is looking for a self-motivated individual to join our technical customer service team.
Shingle’s Customer Service Tech team reports to the Customer Service Manager and work closely with the VP of Sales and the outside sales team. We are looking for a customer-oriented representative who will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any issues that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Our top CSRs are genuinely excited to help the customer; they’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shared accountability to assure customer satisfaction and help build and grow sales with existing and new customers. Work with other customer service team members to develop and strengthen relationships with customers.
- Process customer correspondence in the form of phone calls, emails, and faxes which include orders, quote requests, order expedites
- Provide technical information and troubleshooting ideas to customers.
- Provide customers with quotations and organize and manage the follow-up of important quotations.
- Keep Territory Managers informed of important leads, quotes, and other pertinent information.
- Collaborate with manufacturing regarding inventory updates, scheduling, & order expedites.
- Maximize utilization of the MAS90 integrated computer system.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or 1 to 3 years of directly related experience or the equivalent combination of sales support and customer service accountability.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem solve and determine the customers level of satisfaction is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of SAGE100
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
