ShipIt, shipping 4.5 million orders a year, here to fulfill, meet, and exceed customer expectations.
We are looking for a full-time, Machine Technician located in Hurricane, UT.
The Machine Technician is responsible for keeping the machines up and running during their shift. They will perform routine maintenance tasks on all machines, allowing production goals to be met.
What you will do :
Install and perform diagnostic tests on mechanical systems
Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
Document processes and maintain mechanical service records
Monitor the availability of parts and replenish supplies
Maintain a tidy work environment and adhere to industry regulations
Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks
Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area
Prepare and submit maintenance reports
What we prefer you to bring :
Some work experience as an industrial maintenance technician
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems
Ability to write clear-cut reports on the status of machines
Ability to prioritize projects and repairs
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
Willingness to stay after hours until the job is completed
Pay : $16.50
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
