Shipley Energy is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in Camp Hill, PA
- $24 - $30 per hour based on experience

Requirements:
• Possess the requirements of a Residential Service Technician B
• Technical school certification or equivalent experience
• EPA Type 1 and 2 certification
• Proven success at the diagnosis and repair of complex problems on HVAC residential systems without daily supervision
• Complete understanding of refrigerant cycle
• Proficient at reading and understanding residential schematics
• Able to be on the “on call” schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proven success at educating customers on products and services offered by the company including replacement systems and maintenance agreements
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Demonstrated ability to complete paperwork properly and according to procedure
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift, pull, and/or push 75 pounds
• Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding
• Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time
• Furnish own hand tools

• Able to complete a pre-employment physical test
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair residential oil and gas heating equipment, air conditioning units, and heat pump units
• Complete residential preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
• Train other technicians
• Provide all customers with consistent, quality service in accordance with company procedure
• Positively promote the company’s products and services, developing equipment leads and selling service contracts
• Assist other team members to achieve maximum success, safety, and efficiency
• Maintain required truck inventory as audited
• Maintain a neat appearance in proper, clean uniform at all times
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and maintain a clean vehicle at all times
• Perform all duties in a safe manner ensuring incident-free operations
• Able to operate Astea handheld device
• Report any incident or accident as soon as possible to the Residential Service Operations Manager/Home Services Project Manager
Authority:
• Secure customer prices for repair parts from the Home Services Project Manager/Residential Service Foreman upon a customer’s request
• Recommend any changes which will improve the efficiency or service of the company to the Home Services Project Manager/ Residential Service Foreman
• Not authorized to bind the company in any contract
Relationships:
• Reports to the Home Services Project Manager/Residential Service Foreman
• Internal contacts: managers and team members at all company locations
• External contacts: customers and wholesale parts distributors
Expected Results:
• Reduce call backs to less than 3% of all calls
• Maintain a minimum 75% on utilization report
• Achieve a minimum 90% on GPS Safety score
• No preventable incidents or injuries
• Complete a minimum of 2 technical training courses per year
• Provide a minimum of 2 qualified sales leads per week.
• Maintain a standard stock inventory on vehicle of less than 3% over/under
