Dog Daycare Attendant

We are seeking to hire a reliable dog daycare attendant/kennel tech to join the rest of our amazing team of employees in our busy dog daycare, boarding & grooming facility that is open 365 days a year.

Part time/Full time available.

Must be able to be flexible with your schedule, including weekends, rotating holidays and one night check per week is required for all employees.

We are looking for someone that is extremely reliable, that we can always count on to show up on time for their scheduled shift.

Responsibilities Include:

· Supervise and constantly monitor groups of dogs of all sizes.

· Play with and give lots of love and attention to all of the dogs to make sure they always have an amazing, safe and fun day with us.

· LOTS of cleaning throughout the day involved, including pooper scooping, sweeping & mopping floors, cleaning kennels, laundry, washing dishes, wiping down walls, etc.

· Preparing meals and administering medications.

· Checking in/out dogs.

· Answering the phone and customer questions.

. Taking photos and posting to social media.

Requirements:

· A LOVE OF DOGS IS A MUST!

· Prior experience with a group of dogs of all sizes and temperaments (daycare, training, shelter, vet clinic, etc.) a plus. But we are willing to train the right candidate.

· Friendly and outgoing personality with a drama-free strong team work ethic.

· MUST be extremely reliable and always on time… the dogs and other staff members must be able to depend on you to show up for your shift.

. Excellent customer service skills.

· Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.

. Must be able to handle loud noises (aka barking) and dogs (some the size of a small bear) excitedly jumping up on you to say "hi".

. Must be able to physically and mentally handle any altercations that may potentially arise between dogs without any hesitation. We are very strict in our evaluations with all of the dogs that come to our facility, and we quickly dismiss any dogs we feel are not a good fit for daycare, but you must be able to know/learn dog behavior for the safety of all our canine guests and the other staff members.
