Job Title: Memory Validation Technician
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Memory Validation Technician to support hardware validation and inventory operations at our Rancho Cordova facility. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, technical device teams (TDTs), and support staff to ensure accurate tracking, testing, and maintenance of SSDs and debug platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and deploy drives, plug in test beds (TBs) and systems as requested by engineers
- Capture ULOG data for analysis
- Reconcile SSD inventory; coordinate updates with TDTs across multiple sites
- Set up and maintain debug systems for testing and troubleshooting
- Pick up drives from material stores and manage inventory using the ELM system
- Ship drives and hardware as required
- Perform dediprog (firmware flashing) on drives as needed
- Support test platform debugging and routine maintenance in collaboration with the SH team
- Update task statuses and progress in Jira
- Provide general hardware support as needed
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a technician or hardware validation role
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience using Jira for task tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory and status reporting
- Exposure to memory technology and SSDs
- Hands-on hardware support and debug experience
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
