About The Role

ShopMy is seeking a creative and trend-savvy Social Content Designer to join our Marketing team as an associate. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, ideal for someone who’s energized by turning creative direction into polished, platform-native content. You’ll work closely with our social strategist to bring weekly content plans to life through static graphics and short-form video, helping define and evolve @shopmy across channels.

Your Impact In The Role

• Translate weekly content strategy into creative, high-performing static and video assets
• Act as a creative voice within brainstorms and weekly planning sessions, bringing trend fluency and format knowledge to the table
• Stay plugged into creator culture and emerging formats to keep ShopMy content current and competitive by surfacing moments worth responding to
• Identify opportunities to thoughtfully evolve or refresh existing strategy, particularly around emerging platforms
• Organize and manage asset libraries and working files
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, content creation, or social-first visual production
• Strong instinct for visual storytelling tailored to mobile-first and social environments
• Skilled in design principles for social — including text hierarchy, formatting, and visual engagement
• Strong video editing and motion graphics capabilities for short-form social content
• Comfortable working quickly and independently once aligned on direction
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple content tracks
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and proactive in execution

• Have experience using tools like Figma, Canva Video, Premiere, or Final Cut Pro

New York Pay Range

$60,000 - $80,000 USD

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
