BARTENDER JOB SUMMARY:

Our Bartenders serve the classics with a twist, new and vintage creations and concoct legendary hand-crafted libations. Enjoy working in this waterfront setting that holds the reputation that is at the forefront of McCall Idaho. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Mountains and Lake! Never experience boredom as the menu changes quarterly. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Greet guests, create an enjoyable first impression
• Take beverage and food orders from customers or wait staff, hand crafting unique drinks and serving them as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
• Mix beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, fruits, etc…
• Staying guest focused, anticipating guest requests in a timely manner
• Assessing customer preferences and suggesting drink recommendations
• Collecting money for drinks served and providing change as needed
• Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
• Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks, complying with food and beverage regulations
• Preparing and serving snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar
• Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
• Organizing the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
• Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Training and/or Experience with Bartending, extensive knowledge of cocktail mixers and the ability to prepare and present them to Shore Lodge standards.
• Knowledge of liquors, their makeup, history, and flavor profile
• Proven experience limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and curtailing inappropriate behavior.
• A sense of maturity and leadership coupled with the ability to functionally multi-task with speed and grace
• Excellent cash handling skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
