What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Counselor position at Shoreline Behavioral Health Service?
Duties include completion of diagnostic assessments in an outpatient facility as well as crisis management; group, individual and family counseling; and treatment and discharge planning for those who have been identified as having a substance use disorder (SUD).
QUALIFICATIONS: LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, LMSW, or master’s degree in human service-related field and working toward licensure. Applicant must be willing to explore and learn cutting-edge treatment modalities and possess excellent documentation and time-management skills. Experience working with substance use disorders. Experience working with children and the family unit is preferred.
