The Housekeeper at Shorewood is a vital part of keeping our resident rooms and common areas looking beautiful- housekeepers maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, organized manner in accordance with established procedures and as directed by supervisor; they ensure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.
Salary for this position starts at $15.50/hour, but overall wage can be based on experience.
Position couyld be part-time of full-time from 28-32 hrs a week. Regularly scheduled days with potentially some additional shifts as needed on occasion
- One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred but not required
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions
- Must be able to work full or part time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed
- Must be able to communicate effectively with elders, families, team members, vendors, and the general public
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
