Server/cashier
Duties:
- Memorize the menu and pick up the phone calls
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Upsell menu items
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
- Process payments and provide accurate change to guests
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food handling, safety, and sanitation practices
- Experience with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a dining setting
- Basic culinary knowledge to assist with food preparation and presentation
- Strong guest service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Proficient in taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests are noted
- Ability to upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking, delivery, and payment processing
