Cloud Applications Development Intern

Overview

SUMMER 2025

Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Cloud Applications Development Intern assists with developing and testing Cloud-Native platform software and the integration with wired and wireless communication protocol stacks and embedded firmware systems in professional audio products. Collaborates with other Company divisions including Marketing to establish use cases and requirements, and software tests to define and execute test plans.

This Internship can be Hybrid or Remote. 

Responsibilities

• Assists with the design and implementation of Cloud-Native platform software that controls and manages audio products and networking technologies using AWS technologies
• Collaborates with marketing, software test and system engineering to define platform independent software use cases and requirements
• Develops application software using technologies such as Type Script, Angular, and HTML5/CSS
• Develops embedded application software on Linux, in C
• Estimates, organizes, and documents tasks
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Must be a proactive and continuous learner
• Highly organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills
• Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures
• Self-starter, self-motivated, team player, detail-oriented
• Able to meet required deadlines
• Proficient with markup languages, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and styling React components
• Proficient with browser testing and debugging, cross-platform issues, and resolution
• Good verbal and written communication skills

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers competitive intern compensation that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top intern talent. Each internship has an hourly rate which varies from $21-$40 per hour based on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc). 

Salary : $21 - $40
