Side by Side impacts the lives of almost 2,000 children, young adults, and family members yearly! We focus on much-needed services related to behavioral and mental health, early intervention in schools, LGBTQIA support, transitional housing for foster youth, and special education. As a leader in best practices pertaining to child welfare, Side by Side works with the most vulnerable youth in Marin, Alameda, Sonoma, and Napa Counties.
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY
Side by Side is seeking a Regional Director (North Bay/East Bay), an extremely important position within the Executive Management Team. This role is a leader of the agency’s Program Team working directly with all levels of the organization specifically the Senior Leadership Team, Program Directors and Managers, Individual Contributors, donors, funders, and Board Members. This position supervises Program Directors/Manager, Clinical Supervisors and Office Support Staff.
COMPENSATION
This position has a salary range of $105,000 to $135,000 depending on years of experience.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Direct and manage the implementation of the operating and program plan to meet short- and long-term objectives.
- Assist with formulation and development of the long-term vision and business development strategic plans.
- Work with the Director of Financial Services to develop, communicate and execute financial strategies to achieve organizational business development, operational, and financial goals.
- Through policies, established standards, and by example, foster an environment of learning, teamwork, and cooperation throughout the organization.
- Direct the implementation of an effective and efficient organizational Performance Measurement Plan to ensure the highest quality clinical and support services and promote a climate of continuous improvement and learning.
- At the direction of the CEO, develop and maintain strong and effective community alliances with constituents, such as city and county government officials, medical professionals, social service agencies, police, school administrators, community groups, associations, and businesses in support of the achievement of the organization's mission.
- Research new market opportunities, assist in the development of appropriate strategies, and ensure operational supports are in place to achieve the organization’s growth targets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a licensed LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist
- Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Housing and Community Care Licensing (CCL) experience preferred
- Experience with county contractor oversight and negotiation
- Operational and programmatic experience managing a non-profit organization.
- Minimum 5 years of working in an organization serving vulnerable children, youth, and families preferred
- Ability to drive, a valid California driver's license, personal automobile for use on the job, insurable by SBS’s insurance policy based on DMV record and personal vehicle insurance
- Able to clear criminal background check with Dept. of Justice and FBI via fingerprinting
