What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

Prep Like a Pro:

• Set up workstations with precision, following the pars established by our head chef.
• Handle all prep work before service, including pre-prepping and storing food.
• Evaluate food quality—both cooked and uncooked—before it reaches our guests.

Craft Culinary Magic:

• Slice, dice, and prepare deli products and hot or cold dishes with flair.
• Work with the head chef to create exciting specials that keep our menu fresh and fun.

Keep It Clean and Organized:

• Maintain top-tier sanitation standards, meeting or exceeding all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Ensure storage areas are tidy, organized, and stocked with the right product pars.

Deliver Outstanding Service:

• Provide friendly and engaging customer service, taking orders, explaining specials, making recommendations, and handling cash/credit transactions with care.
• Help ensure food security through proper inventory, portioning, and lock-up procedures.

Own the Details:

• Complete all opening and closing tasks as assigned by management or the head chef.
• Abide by company policies regarding food service and safety.
• Step in for other duties as assigned—because teamwork makes the dream work.

What We’re Looking For (Required Experience)

• A high school diploma is a plus (but not required).
• At least 1 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Knowledge of food prep and cooking methods.
• A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
• A current SNHD Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one.
• Must be 21 years old if serving alcohol.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably.
• Multi-tasking while maintaining a positive attitude in busy conditions.
