Siegel’s Bagelmania is more than a deli—it’s a Las Vegas icon where tradition meets top-notch service. As a Deli Attendant, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, crafting mouthwatering dishes, serving with a smile, and keeping our beloved guests coming back for more.
What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
Prep Like a Pro:
- Set up workstations with precision, following the pars established by our head chef.
- Handle all prep work before service, including pre-prepping and storing food.
- Evaluate food quality—both cooked and uncooked—before it reaches our guests.
Craft Culinary Magic:
- Slice, dice, and prepare deli products and hot or cold dishes with flair.
- Work with the head chef to create exciting specials that keep our menu fresh and fun.
Keep It Clean and Organized:
- Maintain top-tier sanitation standards, meeting or exceeding all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Ensure storage areas are tidy, organized, and stocked with the right product pars.
Deliver Outstanding Service:
- Provide friendly and engaging customer service, taking orders, explaining specials, making recommendations, and handling cash/credit transactions with care.
- Help ensure food security through proper inventory, portioning, and lock-up procedures.
Own the Details:
- Complete all opening and closing tasks as assigned by management or the head chef.
- Abide by company policies regarding food service and safety.
- Step in for other duties as assigned—because teamwork makes the dream work.
What We’re Looking For (Required Experience)
- A high school diploma is a plus (but not required).
- At least 1 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
- Knowledge of food prep and cooking methods.
- A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
- A current SNHD Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain one.
- Must be 21 years old if serving alcohol.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably.
- Multi-tasking while maintaining a positive attitude in busy conditions.
